Asia Culture Center

A vast, largely underground arts complex on the site of the former provincial hall where the 1980 Gwangju Uprising reached its end - part of the old building is preserved inside. Exhibition halls, a theatre and an archive of Asian contemporary art sit beneath a rooftop park. Much of it is free.
