Taehwagang National Garden

Korea's second national garden, on a river that was written off as dead in the 1990s and cleaned up over two decades. The draw is Simnidaesup, a bamboo grove running four kilometres along the bank, cool and dim even at noon. Rapeseed and cosmos fill the open fields in spring and autumn.
