Jirisan National Park

Korea's first national park and the best of them for a multi-day walk, spanning three provinces with the highest peaks on the mainland. Ridge shelters let you sleep up high and reach Cheonwangbong for sunrise, but beds must be booked in advance and the weather turns fast. Day hikers usually start from Jungsan-ri on this side.
