Dongpirang Mural Village

A hillside of old houses above Gangguan harbour that was slated for demolition until artists covered it in murals and the city kept it. The lanes are steep and narrow, and the walls are repainted every couple of years, so what you photograph is never quite what the last visitor saw. People still live here - keep the noise down.
