Suncheonman Bay Wetland Reserve

One of the world's best-preserved coastal wetlands and a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, where tidal flats meet a vast bed of reeds. Boardwalks run out through the reeds to an observatory on Yongsan hill; hundreds of bird species pass through, and hooded cranes winter here. The reeds turn gold in late autumn.
